This classic, teak veneered desk by the Danish designer Kai Kristiansen features two spacious compartments, each containing three drawers made of solid maple with teak-veneered front pieces. The drawers can be opened using elegant handles made of solid teak. A floating top and tapered legs give the furniture a light appearance. The desk is designed to be free-standing, which is evident from the three open compartments on the back.
This high-quality piece of furniture desk was professionally refurbished by furniture conservator Sascha Hahn and is therefore in excellent condition. In addition to a few veneer repairs, the original oil coating was partially renewed. Due to the careful restoration, there are hardly any signs of wear, which certainly makes this piece of furniture a rarity.
